Irmgard G. Banks

Irmgard G. Banks 88 of Hicksville passed away August 15, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born May 29, 1928 in Nuremberg, Germany a daughter of the late Elsie (Beacher) & George Schmidt. It was in 1948 that she moved to Hicksville. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Norvel, whom she married Nov. 15, 1947; son, Allen Banks & brother, Erik Schmidt.

Irmgard was a kind soul that was always concerned with others. Cooking gave her great joy and and sharing it with others gave her even more happiness.

Irmgard leaves behind a son, Aaron Banks of Denver, CO, daughter Maurine Holle of Fort Wayne; grandsons Allen Banks of Hicksville & Nathan Banks of Montana.

She will be laid to rest privately in Bethel Cemetery.
