Isabelle Zuber

Isabelle L. Zuber, 100, of Payne, passed away at 10:55 am, Friday, July 11th, 2008 at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.

She was born in Antwerp on February 1, 1908, the daughter of the late Francis and Susan (Arndt) Wetli.

Isabelle was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish (formerly St. John the Baptist), Payne. She was a member of the St. Catherine's Circle and was devoted to her family, church and enjoyed farm life.

She married Frank Zuber, February 7, 1934. He passed away November 13, 1979.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Beatrice (Leonard) Karr of Garrett, IN & Arlene (Gary) Wobler of Carmel, IN; sons, Leonard (Marilyn) & Russell (Carol), both of Payne; 14 grandchildren & 32 great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Florence Schaeffer, Louise Anderson & Sr. Agathonia Wetli and brothers Eugene, Charles and Gerald Wetli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish (formerly St. John the Baptist), Payne, at 11 am on Wednesday, July 16th, with Rev G. Allan Fillman officiating.

She will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Payne.
