Jack Thomas

Jack Thomas, 83, of Antwerp, passed away at 12:50 PM, Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 at Van Wert Manor, Van Wert.

Jack was born in Lorain, Ohio on July 15, 1924, the son of the late Herbert and Hazel (Russell) Thomas.

He served in the U.S. Army in WW II, worked at Tokheim and was a member of Antwerp VFW Post 5087.

Jack loved his family and enjoyed nature, playing horseshoes, bowling.

Jack will be sadly missed by his daughters, Sherri Miller & Shelley (Stephen) Marlin, both of Antwerp; sister, Hazel Meglich of Antwerp; brothers, Richard Thomas of Salem, Oregon & Jerry Scouten of Antwerp; 4 grandchildren, Melissa McVay, Kim Mendez and Stephanie & Andrew Marlin and 5 great grandchildren, Zachary & Kyler Mendez and Hailey Makayla & Gavin McVay.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Saturday, October 20th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Saturday ,one hour prior to services.
