James O Bovine

James O. Bovine, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. 

Jim was born in Fort Wayne on December 19, 1931, a son of the late June  (Dailey) and Harvey  Bovine.

He served proudly in the U.S. Army as a Sgt from 1949 to 1954. He later retired from Montgomery Kone Elevator and was a member of the New Haven American Legion Post 330.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Schroeder, whom he married on Valentines Day in 1983.

He will be sadly missed by his sons, Bradley (Susan) of Antwerp, Eric & Gary, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Susie Bovine of Monroeville; grandchildren, Jennifer & James Bovine and Rachelle Hart and great granddaughter, Lily Anne Hart.

His funeral service is at Fellowship Church, 15413 State Route 49, Antwerp, Ohio at 11 am on Tuesday, January 26th, with viewing one hour prior. 

He will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery.
