James E. Reddin

James E.  Reddin, 78, of Harlan  passed away at home on Friday, September 12, 2014.  

Jim was born in Roanoke, IN on November 25, 1935, a son of the late Geraldine (Wisel) and Henry E. Reddin.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marines and  worked at International Harvester over 29 years.

Jim was a member of the American Legion & South Scipio United Brethren Church.

On May 5, 1956 Jim married Shirley Baughman. Shirley passed away August 14, 2014.  

Jim will be sadly missed by his 6 children, Bonnie (Dale) Mendenhall, Tammy (Scottie) Busha, Trudy (Barry) Reddin Lee, Vicki Jackson, Eugene & Dennis (Gerri); 5 siblngs, Betty Bear, Barbara Bradbury, Phyllis "Susie" Sands, Jesse "Fuzz" & Edward; 17 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren.

His siblings, Mary Douglas & Ronald and grandson, Cody have passed away.

Services are Tuesday, Sept. 16th, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior at Harlan United Methodist Church.

Viewing is also Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery.

Arr. by Dooley Funeral Homes of Antwerp & Payne, Ohio.
