Jim Wilson

James Wilson, 77, of Payne,  passed away Wednesday, December 6 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Jim was born in Payne, on October 7, 1946, a son of the late Mildred (Fry) & Virgil Wilson.

Jim was a graduate of Payne High School. He served his country in the US Army Reserves and went on to work for International Harvester and King Farms for many years. Jim was also a member of St. Jacob's Church in Payne and the Flatrock Masonic Lodge.  

Jim will be sadly missed by his children, Michelle Waggoner & Tonya (Craig) Eiden; stepchildren, Missy (Paul) Sokolik & Tim Holmes; grandchildren, Noah (Adri), Eric, Nadiah, James & Felicia; & great grand children, Ariella, Allison, & Hayden. 

He was also preceded in death by his wives, Georgianna, Patty, and Nancy, & brother, Allen Wilson. 

Viewing will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 4-6:30 PM with a Masonic service at 6:30 at Dooley Funeral Home 5761 SR 500, Payne Ohio 45880.

Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 3 PM with viewing from 2:30 to 3 PM at St. Jacob's Church, 207 W Oak St., Payne Ohio 45880. 

He will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery at a later date. 

Memorials may be made to the Flatrock Masonic Lodge or St. Jacob's Church.
