Jan Marie Werfal

Jan Marie Werfal, 58, passed away Wednesday August 23, 2017 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

 Jan was born January 29, 1959 to the late Peter Sr. and Louise (Tangora) Hoed in Rockford, Illinois. She was a 1977 graduate of Milton High School in Milton, Wisconsin.

 On April 21^st, 1978 she was united in marriage to Robert Werfal I, and he survives.

 Jan loved her family and always made time for their activities. Jan and Robert were some of the founding members of the Wayne Trace Music Boosters program. She was also very involved with vacation bible school at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Payne. All of her children were involved in 4-H where she always encouraged and supported them.

 Surviving Jan are her two daughters; Tammy Leigh (Jon) Steingass and Sandy Marie Murray, Son; Robert II, grandchildren; Lilly, Viktor and Emma Steingass; brothers; John (Tammy) , Peter Jr., Timothy (Jo), Sisters; Grace (Kenny) Wille and Louise (Lee) Holland.

 Preceding her in death was an infant daughter, Dusty J. Werfal.

 Visitation for Jan will be Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 at Dooley Funeral Home 5761 SR 500, Payne, OH.

Memorial donations may be made to CHP Hospice of Defiance.

Flower deliveries may be made to the Payne location between 9:00 and 5:00 on Saturday and between 9:00 and 11:00 on Sunday.
