Janet C. DeLong

Janet C. DeLong, age 79, of Antwerp, OH passed away Friday, November 11th, 2005 at Paulding County Hospital.

Born in Antwerp on March 3, 1926, she was the daughter of Harry and Delia (Peffley) Friend.

She married Zeb DeLong on November 13, 1948. Zeb passed away January 6, 2005.

Janet worked at Magnavox and was a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 253 Auxiliary. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, mushroom hunting and gambling in Michigan.

She will be sadly missed by her
daughters & sons-in-law, Lana & Steve Peters and Gina & Bob Phlipot; brothers Richard & Jim all of Antwerp; grandchildren, Stacie, Kelley & Brad Peters, Andy Hughes & Robbie Philpot and great grandchildren, Keersten Peters & Tyra Conley. Her sisters, Betty Humbarger and Clarice Friend and brothers, Derwood, Robert, Budd, Williard and Willis Friend have passed away.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Monday, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 pm and Monday after 10 am.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
