Janet Lyons

Janet Lyons, 71, of Payne passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Paulding County Hospital.

Janet was born in Fort Wayne, IN on January 13, 1950, a daughter of the late Thelma Young (Tendell) & Donald Bachellor.

Janet worked most of her life as a hair dresser. She enjoyed traveling and going to amusement parks. In her free time she enjoyed going fishing, crafting and crocheting, and brain teaser games. Most of all, Janet was a loving mother and wife, who loved to spend time with her family.

Janet will be sadly missed by her husband, Charles, to whom she was married February 10, 1968; her sons, Eric (Diana) & Chad (Miriam) Lyons; siblings, Linda VanSickle, Randy Freeman, & Mary Zent; grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Adam, & Shawn; great grandchildren, Shey, Ariana, Mark, Carter, Arabella, Cole, & Rexton; & her dog, Buttons.

Janet was also preceded in death by her brothers, Steven Bachellor & Jim Freeman.

Viewing is Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, OH 45880.

Service is Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:30 AM, with viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Payne Church of the Nazarene, 509 Orchard St, Payne, OH 45880.

She will be laid to rest in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
