Janet Starbuck

Janet Starbuck, 72, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away at home on Monday, March 21, 2022.. 

Janet was born in Celina, Ohio on November 17, 1949, a daughter of the late Mary "Evelyn" (Strubing) and James  Miller.

She will always be remembered for her work at Antwerp Local Schools, Dana Weatherhead, all the years of leadership in Girl Scouts, her holiday craft show in Antwerp and her greenhouse.

Janet will be sadly missed by her children, Jill (Ron) McCray Starbuck, James (Sandy) Starbuck and Jennifer (her partner, Robert) Starbuck; sisters, Jayme Middaugh & Jacquelyn (Richard) Christiansen; grandchildren, Rikki, Miranda, Kati, Serena, Shaylin & Hannah and 7 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death on January 31, 2019 by her husband, Jack Starbuck, to whom she was married April 30, 1970.

Viewing is Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

Her funeral service is 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 24th at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with viewing one hour prior.

She will be laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville, Ohio.
