Janice Shaffer

Janice Shaffer, 82, of Antwerp, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at The Gardens of Paulding.

Janice was born in Antwerp on November 4, 1930, a daughter of the late Hazel (Ehrhart) and Fred  Major.

She was a  secretary to the Superintendent at Antwerp Local School retiring in 1978 & co-owner of Shaffer Hardware for 18 years; a member of First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp, the Eastern Star and her Book Club.

She was united in marriage in 1951 to Fred Shaffer.

Janice will be sadly missed by her husband, Fred; son, Randy (Lynn) of Antwerp; daughter, Denise (Gary) Molnar of Springfield & 4 grandchildren.

Her service is Tuesday, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

Viewing is also Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at  the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery.
