Jean Mundt

Jean Mundt, 83, of Antwerp passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Paulding County Hospital.

Jean was born in Montrose, Michigan on May 15, 1932, a daughter of the late Doris (Reed) and Hubert  Bachelor.

She worked in food service at Notre Dame for many years. Jean was a resident of Vancrest of Antwerp.

On September 8, 1951 Jean married Herbert Mundt, who passed away December 20, 2013

Jean will be sadly missed by her children, Catherine Beeching of Shelby, Diane (Terry) Neary of South Bend, Patricia (Brian) Ross of Antwerp & Gary (Amanda) Mundt of Spring Lake, MI; siblings, Donna Longcore & Marilyn (George) Burrows both of Petoskey, MI and Dale (Nancy) Bachelor of Walloon Lake, MI; sisters-in-law, Marilyn & Barb Bachelor & brother-in-law, Don Festerling all of Petoskey, MI; 10 grandchildren, Melissa, Kevin, Travis, Ryan, Kellee, Jennifer, Eric, Jacob, Jared, and Jonny; and 7 great grandchildren, Landon, Keegan, Annabelle, Camden, Paysen, Peyton, and Jamison.

She is also preceded in death by her siblings Ruth (Jim) Evers, Thelma Festerling and Herbert & Al Bachelor.

Jean's Memorial Service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp at 2 pm on Friday, October 16th, with visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorials to Vancrest of Antwerp Activity Fund.
