Jeane Schmunk

Kathryn Jeane Schmunk, 80, of Antwerp, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Paulding County Hospital.

Jeane was born in Hicksville on April 22, 1933, a daughter of the late Ethel (Davis) and Clarence  Engle.

She was the first female vice president at the Antwerp Exchange Bank and was named Antwerp Gem of the Year in 2012 for her selfless contributions to the community.

On June 28, 1953 Jeane married Tom Schmunk. Tom died  April 7, 2009. Also preceding her in death were her son, Tommy & brothers, Fortis, Ralph & Coral Engle.

Jeane will be fondly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews.

Services are at Antwerp United Methodist Church, Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at 11 am, with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Tuesday, 4 - 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
