John "Butch" Knapp

John L. Knapp, 65, of Antwerp, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.

Butch was born in Harlan, Indiana on October 30, 1946, a son of the late Mary (Sunday) and Ross  Knapp.

He was a member of Countryside Church of Christ.

Butch will be sadly missed by his children, Matt of Detroit & Kristina Berry of Auburn, Indiana; companion, Judy Schaffer of Defiance; sisters, Donna (Max) Timbrook of Fort McCoy, Florida, Lou (Jack) Payne of Fort Wayne & Judy Gray of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers Larry (Melanie) of Adrian, Georgia & Steve (Sue) of Antwerp and four grandchildren.

Butch was also preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Hissong & Bill.  

Viewing Wednesday, 5 to 8 pm  at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.  

His funeral service is at Countryside Church of Christ , 14314 Hurshtwon Road, Grabill, Indiana at 11 am on Thursday, September 27th, with viewing one hour prior.

Butch will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery.
