John H. Rogers

John H. Rogers, age 73, of Antwerp, passed away Wednesday, August 24th, 2005 at his residence.

Born in Antwerp, on May 8, 1932, he was the son of Harry and Goldie (Mangus) Rogers.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
John married Bernadyne Begley. Dec. 22, 1951. She passed away Nov. 25, 2000.
He was a machinist at Dana Weatherhead, Antwerp for over 21 years.
John enjoyed farming, woodworking and his grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his sons, Joseph of Fowlerville, MI & James of Snow Camp, NC;
daughters, Pamela Starr of LaGrange, GA, Paula Schweinsberg of Antwerp, Patricia Wetli of Antwerp, Peggy Shook of Antwerp, Penny Hughes of Antwerp
brother, Robert Taylor of Ft Wayne
26 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

His brother, Raymond Taylor & sisters Alice Rogers & Dorothy Powell have passed away.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, . at 11 am on Monday, August 29th, with Max Begley officiating.

You may call Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 pm EDT and Monday 10 am EDT at Dooley Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
