John McKinley Taylor

JOHN McKINLEY TAYLOR, age 63, of Antwerp, Ohio and Greeneville, TN, passed away Friday, September 8th, 2006 at his son's home, Antwerp.

Born in Pruden, TN on May 11, 1943, he was the son of the late William R. and Alice (Rose) Taylor who survives him of Rockford, Ohio.

He retired as a supervisor at Uniroyal-Goodrich, Woodburn.

John was a member of the Greeneville, TN Masonic Lodge, he enjoyed his family and boating on Cherokee Lake, near Greeneville.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Alice; daughters and sons-in-law, Patty & Matt Hoeffle of Auburn, IN and Missy & Adam Richey of Antwerp; son and daughter-in-law, John & Julie Taylor of Antwerp; sister, Nancy Wilson of Florence, KY; brothers, Jerry of Dayton, KY, Frank of Van Wert, Eldon of Van Wert; longtime companion, Cathy DeVault, Kingsport, TN and 9 grandchildren.

John is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Francis and brothers, Joe, Rusty & Jimmy.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service Wednesday, 11 AM at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp with calling after 10 AM.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
