Karen Rose Mielke

Karen Rose Mielke, 60, of Paulding, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

Karen was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 6, 1961, a daughter of the late Ramona Betty Ann (Germann) and Oliver Milan Ramsey.

As a young woman, she enjoyed beng a part of the junior ROTC. Karen and her siblings would enjoy songs being played on the piano by their mother. She was an avid Indiana Colts fan. She alos loved to knit, crochet, cook & bake and watch the Grit channel.

Karen was currently a database administrator at IPFW. She loved her co-workers and even brought them homemade treats to eat.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Gary (Taylor) Mielke of Van Wert; siblings, Kate Willer of Cleveland, Keith (Pam) Ramsey of New Haven, IN, Ken & Karl Ramsey both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Eli, Olivia & Aden.

Karen was also preceded in death by her husband, James Mielke.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held at the convenience of her family.
