Keith Knoblauch

Keith Knoblauch, 72, of Woodburn, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Born in Fort Wayne on April 26, 1949, he was a son of the late Margaret (Rodenbeck) & Herman Knoblauch.

Keith's life centered around three things - his family, his work, and his service to his church and community. He was the biggest fan to his kids and grandkids, especially in their activities. He coached, cheered, was always present, and often shared his advice. He worked for the family business, Knoblauch Construction, for his entire life as machine operator and owner. His work was his gift and truly a love of his life. He served faithfully at Christ Lutheran Church and Woodburn Missionary Church, giving of himself on multiple boards, committees, and always a friendly face welcoming people as an usher. Through the years Keith also enjoyed spending his time playing church league softball, serving as a volunteer firefighter, and was also an avid Komet Hockey fan. Most importantly, he loved Jesus.

Keith will be sadly missed by his wife, Debbie, to whom he was married June 12, 1971, recently celebrating 50 years of marriage; children, Kiley (Teresa) Knoblauch, Clinton (Abbey) Knoblauch, and Katie Dean; grandchildren, Makayla, Karysa, Janiya, Kayden, Camden, Zamariya, Parker, Christian, Maggie, and Zaccai; siblings, Dennis (Barb) Knoblauch and Martha (Tom) Bains; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Knoblauch. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and David.

Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Road. Woodburn (IN 46797), with viewing from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
