Larry Jay Tumbleson

LARRY JAY TUMBLESON, age 61, of Payne, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born in Decatur, Indiana on June 9, 1945, he was the son of the late Francis H. and Inez (Imler) Tumbleson.

Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran.

On August 3, 1969 Larry Married Carol Smith, who survives.

Larry worked at Dana in Lima but also worked at the Antwerp Plant and spent 27 years at Goodrich in Woodburn.

He was a member and custodian of Payne Church of the Nazarene. Larry enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Broughton Fox & Hound Club.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Carol; daughters; Tammy Tumbleson, Tracy (Jason) Hower both of Payne & Wendy Tumbleson of Smyrna, Georgia; son, David (Holly) of Woodburn, Indiana.
brothers, John & Ted both of Wren, Ohio and two grandsons, Zachary Tumbleson and Colton Hower.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Payne Church of the Nazarene, Payne. at 11 AM on Saturday, December 9th, with Rev. Mike Harper officiating.

You may call Friday 2-8 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp and Saturday 1 hour prior to his service at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne with miltary honors from Payne American Legion Post 297.
