LAWRENCE L. CROMLEY, age 85, of Antwerp, passed away Friday, May 5th, 2006 Coldwater, MI.
Born in Antwerp, on July 30, 1920, he was the son of the late William J. and Lenora (Leeth) Cromley.
He served in the U.S. Army in WW II.
On October 17, 1943, he married Helen L. Schmunk. She passed away March 31, 1985.
He worked as a Design Analyst at International Harvester, Fort Wayne. He also operated the Cromley Bike Shop.
He was a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church, Antwerp American Legion Post 253, VFW Post 5087, Coldwater Elks and he was a Mason. He also served on the Antwerp School Board, Village Council and Park Board. Lawrence loved his family, fishing, pheasant hunting, bowling and golf.
He will be sadly missed by sons, Barry of Baton Rouge, LA, Keith of Miami, FL; daughters, Vicki Keokuk of Coldwater, MI, Dixie Vail of Antwerp, Nancy Lichty of Antwerp; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
His sisters, Iris Viancour, Addie Wetli & Ethel Gaisford and a grandaughter have passed away.
You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Antwerp United Methodist Church at 11 am on Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 with Rev. Michael Schneider officiating and military honors from VFW Post 5087.
