Lucile Larimore

Mary "Lucile" Larimore, 69 of Payne claimed her eternal inheritance as a joint heir of Christ January 13, 2009 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center following a lengthy illness and surrounded by her family. Lucile was born September 20, 1939 to the late Floyd A. Gibbons and Ruby L. (Zartman) Gibbons. On Feb. 11, 1956, she married Daniel T. Larimore, who passed away June 20, 1994. She is also preceded in death by a brother, James Fulmer and sister, Irma Bouillon.

Lucile was a vital Christ-follower and member of the Payne Church of the Nazarene for many years. Besides being a culinary genius and homemaker, Lucile had been previously employed by Magnavox Corporation of Fort Wayne; Maranatha, Inc. of Payne; and enjoyed many wonderful years as a bus driver for the Antwerp Local School district. She was most recently employed by CE Electronics of Bryan.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kathryn and (Philip) Harden of Warsaw, IN; sons, Michael and Valerie (Terwilliger) Larimore of Souix City, IA; Mark Larimore of Antwerp, Robert and Anita (Cook) Larimore of South Fork, PA. sisters, Marianne Case of Payne and Loretta Etzler of Van Wert.

6 grandchildren and a great grandchild, Betty (Harden) O'Hara married to Jason O'Hara; Mary (Harden) Benitez married to Manuel Benitez and their daughter, Yessenia all of Warsaw, IN; Maggie (Larimore) Miller and her husband, Derek Miller of Columbus and Abigail Larimore of South Fork, PA; grandsons, Joshua Larimore (Sioux City, IA), and Ellis Larimore (South Fork, PA).

You are invited to participate in her funeral service, Saturday, 11 am, Payne Church of the Nazarene, with viewing one hour prior to her service. Rev. Mike Harper will officiate.

Viewing is also Friday, 4 to 8 pm, Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

She will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
