Marie Linette Shull, 61, of Antwerp, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
Marie was born in Kittery, Maine on June 24, 1959, a daughter of Fredrick Gray and the late Alice (Strother) Lewis.
Marie served her country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. After returning from her service she graduated from the Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a nurse for many years. Later, she received her Masters Degree in nursing education to further serve the nursing community as a teacher. She was also the proud owner and operator of Antwerp Alleys, providing an outlet for the Antwerp community for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Greg, to whom she was married September, 18, 2017; her children, Philip (Christen) Bauer II, David (Colinda) Bauer, Stephanie (Aaron) Moore, & Steve (Missi) Shull; her siblings, Kevin (Debbie) Gray, Melodie (Mark) Valentine, Monica Sanford, Gary (Kathy) Gray, & Patrick (Kathy) Gray; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild & 3 dogs.
A memorial gathering for Marie will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 2 - 8 pm, at Hops Place, 518 S. Erie St., Antwerp, Ohio 45813.
