Marilyn Sue Elkins

Marilyn Sue Elkins, 87, of Cecil, passed away August 19, 2023, at her home.

Marilyn was born on July 23, 1936 in Wawaka, Indiana, a daughter of the late Mary Blanch (Frick) & Laural Riley Kendall.

Marilyn worked for much of her life as a hair stylist. In her free time she enjoyed fishing and playing Yahtzee with her late husband Roy. She also appreciated traveling to casinos and playing the penny machines. She had a soft spot for many different types of animals and always enjoyed having a bit of chocolate! Above all, Marilyn loved her family and always treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, Patrick (the late Ruth Ann) & Rod (Thelma) Elkins; siblings, Mike (Charmaine) Kendall & Patce (Keith) Bobeck; 8 grandchildren; & 13 great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary & Laural; her husband, Roy Elkins; sister, Linda Smith; & son, Todd Elkins.

Service is Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Dooley Funeral Home of Payne, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio 45813, with viewing one hour prior.

Memorials may be maid to the Paulding County Nurses Auxiliary.
