Marilyn Knoblauch

Marilyn Joyce Knoblauch, 84, of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Marilyn was born in Fort Wayne on February 3, 1939 a daughter of the late William & Edna (Nahrwold) Norden.

It was easy to see that God and family were of the utmost importance to Marilyn. She valued her membership at Christ Lutheran Church and thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at Woodburn Lutheran School. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She made sure that holiday meals with family were special. It was a rare occasion that she missed a grandchild's event. 

Marilyn will be sadly missed by her husband, Erwin; children, Debbie (Jeff) Abbott, Jeff (Mary) Knoblauch, Denise (Rick) Sosenheimer and Gene (Lori) Knoblauch; brother, Denny (Mary) Norden; sisters-in-law, Judy and Candy Norden; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Roger & Mike Norden.

Viewing is Sunday, September 10th, 3 PM to 5 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park Street, Woodburn, Indiana 46797.

Her funeral service is 10:30 AM, with viewing from 9:30 to 10:15 AM on Monday, September 11th at Christ Lutheran Church.

She will be laid to rest at Christ Lutheran Cemetery. 

Memorials are to Woodburn Lutheran School or Christ Lutheran Church.
