Marilyn Peters

Marilyn J. Peters, 89, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Marilyn was born in Paulding County, Ohio on May 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Edna (Keating) and Waldo Witt.

She was a long time member of Antwerp United Methodist Church. Marilyn thoroughly enjoyed flower gardening and harness racing along with her husband, Earl. She was most proud of being able to celebrate 70 years with Earl, which laid the foundation for the family she loved so dearly.

Marilyn will be sadly missed by her children, Steve (the late Lana) Peters, Stephanie (Jim) Long and Shelley (Mark) Heller; grandchildren, Stacie Peters, Kelley Peters, Brad Peters, Jessica Kipfer, Meredith Long, Thomas Long, Bailey Tear, Molly Long-Diehl, David Knueve, Harrison Heller, Riley Heller and Spencer Heller; great grandchildren, Keersten, Maddy, Braxton, Shaun, Libby, Elena, Everett, Max, Clay, Caleb, Camille, Capri, Riley, Hayes, Evy, Josephine, Connor, Henry, Isabelle, Charlotte, Hudson, Lainey, Millie, Josie and one on the way in March.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl and sister, Dorthy Molitor.

Viewing is Monday, February 17th, 4 - 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

Her funeral service is 10:30 AM, with viewing one hour prior, on Tuesday, February 18th at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
