Marjorie A Underwood

Marjorie A. Underwood, 80, of Antwerp passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Marjorie was born in Antwerp on Jan. 13, 1934, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Stevenson) and Dale Hobeck.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Antwerp Sales and a rural mail carrier; was a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church and the Payne Grange.

On Aug. 17, 1952 she married George Underwood.

Marjorie will be sadly missed by her husband George; children, Dr. Daniel (Jaci) of Hicksville, Royce (Carolyn) of Swanton & Connie (Scott) Sampson of Gahanna; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou of Wauseon; siblings, Donna (Mike) Molitor of Antwerp, Harley (Rita) of Edgerton, Bill (Sue) of Phoenix & Leland (Frances) of Fort Wayne;11 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.                                                

Her son, Stanley, also preceded her in death.                

Her funeral service  at Antwerp United Methodist Church 202 E. River Street, 11 am on Wednesday, February 19th,  with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
