Mark H. Dingus, age 67 of Payne, OH died February 12, 2011 at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima, OH. He was born November 4, 1943 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Walter and Winnie (Calton) Dingus. On October 5, 1963 he married Sallie Conley who survives. Mark served in the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1966. He was a graduate of Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, Kentucky. He was employed for 35 years at B.F. Goodrich, Woodburn, IN where he was a Journeyman Industrial Electrician/Mechanic. He retired in 2006. Mark enjoyed woodworking, time with his grandchildren, reading, and learning new things.
He is survived by his wife Sallie and daughters: Mary (Don) Pearse of Manhatten, IL, Erika (Chis) Lobsiger of Van Wert, OH, Carolyn (Jason) Belcher of Marion, IN; sons, Mark Eugene (Helen) Dingus, Millersville, MD, Tim (Delta) Dingus, VanWert, OH; sisters, Dollie Wray Dingus, Danville, IL, Mae (Zion) Swetnam, Pleasant Grove, AL, Marlene (Jerry) Soard, New Virginia, IA; brothers, Walter Clyde Dingus, Jr., Wilton Dingus, and Charles Dingus all from Martin, KY, and Tom (Kathy) Dingus, Clintwood, VA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Christina and Jason Belcher, Amanda and Chad Lobsiger, Andrew and Christopher Dingus, Alex, Grace andAdam Pearse, Allison Dingus, Cora and Hali Finfrock.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Chad and a sister Doris.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 15 at the Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, OH. There will be a private service for the family on Wednesday.
