Mary L. Beatty

Mary L. Beatty, 92, of Antwerp,  passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Vancrest of Payne.

Mary was born in Defiance on April 25, 1929, a daughter of the late Blanche (Trop) and Floyd  Overmyer.

She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her genuine smile always made you feel welcome.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Mary Ellen (the late Philip) Hoffman, Margaret (Bruce) Dunbar & Sharon (Timothy) Greutman; grandchildren, Myra, Renee, Kristina, Katie, Amber, Matthew & Benjamin; 11 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rando Beatty, to whom she was married July 1, 1949; son, James & siblings, Donald, Leland, Jack & Edward Overmyer, Marguerite Sprout, Louise Mora, Rose Silvers  Joan Overmyer.

Viewing is Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, 4 to 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Service is Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 10:30 am, with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

She will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
