Mary Lou Derck

Mary Lou Derck, 83, of Angola, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

Mary was born in Paulding, Ohio on July 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Alec & Mary (Keri) Rakanza.

She worked at Hamilton Products and the Holiday Inn, Angola, but enjoyed being  a strong mother to her children, collecting antiques, going to flea markets and raising dogs

She will be sadly missed by her children, Raymond (Carol) Derck of Maryland, Theresa Derck of California, Angie (Jack) Hancock of Fremont, IN, Robert (Debbie) Derck of Edon, OH, MaDonna Ali and Derk Derck both of Hamilton, IN and Dolphin (Dev) Ramanathan of Fort Wayne; sister, Isabel (Jim) Morisy of Paulding, OH; 24 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Derck; son, Randall Derck; siblings, Judy Roush, Vera Spangler & Steve Rakonza.

Service is Friday 10 am with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Viewing is also Thursday, 6 - 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
