Mary E. Doctor

Mary E. Doctor, 96, of Antwerp  passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at Vancrest of Payne. 

Mary was born in Defiance on November 25, 1922, a daughter of the late Helen (Bertwell) and Benjamin Wilhelm.

Mary worked on the Paulding County election Board for 40 years and had been a church organist.

On Nov. 22, 1951 she married Dwight S. Doctor, Sr. who passed away July 30, 2010.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Dwight, Jr. (Jackie) Doctor of Antwerp, Paul (Marilyn) Doctor of Woodburn, IN &  Alice (Rick) Brehm of Osseo, MI; sister-in-law, Joanne Wilhelm of Saginaw, MI; 23 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.

Mary was also preceded in death by her brothers, William & Benjamin Wilhelm and granddaughter, Sara Doctor.

Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 10:30 am at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 303 Monroe St. Antwerp.

Viewing is Tuesday, 9 am to 10 am at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
