Mary Lou Slusher, 92, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Laurels of DeKalb, Butler, Indiana.
Mary Lou was born in Antwerp on December 6, 1931, a daughter of the late Mary (Zuber) and Edward Meyer.
Mary Lou will always be remembered for being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her smile and gentle sense of humor. Mary Lou treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Antwerp VFW Auxiliary, Hicksville Eagles, and Divine Mercy Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Julie (Bradley) Miller, Nancy (Randy) Wise, Linda (Stephen) Thiel, and Kirk (Jennifer) Slusher; siblings, Rama Sarazin, Norman and Robert Meyer; 11 grandchildren; & 12 great grandchildren.
Mary Lou was also preceded in death by her husband, Noah and siblings, Margaret (Glen) Hissong and Virgil (Dorothy) Meyer.
Viewing is at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 3:30 to 6:30 PM, when the Rosary will be recited.
Her funeral mass is at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 203 W. Townline Street, Payne, Ohio on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10 AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
