Mary A. McCoy

Mary A. McCoy, 70, of Antwerp passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Mary was born in Fort Wayne on October 13, 1945.

She had a passion for cooking. She even cooked for the Free Meal Thursdays offered at the Antwerp United Methodist Church, where she was a devout member.

Mary was co-owner of MERLS Restaurant & Our Daily Bread and worked at Dietrich Industries for many years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Penny Rachel, Wanda (Doug) Wooster, Dawn (Dan) Gordon & MaryAnn (Earl) McKenzie; siblings, Bill (Marilyn) Elkins, Ruth (Butch) Miller, Linny (the late Larry) Williams & Eva Elkins.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Mary (Uhrich) Elkins; step father, Delbert "Pops" Ruch and siblings Norm, Roy, Bryce & Jesse Elkins.

Viewing is Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Antwerp United Methodist Church, 202 E. River Street, Antwerp.
