Mary Plum

Mary Plum, 94, of Antwerp passed away April 25, 2023 at the Antwerp Manor.

Mary was born in Antwerp on June 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Golda (Starry) and Lester Hetrick.

Mary loved her job at BF Goodrich and was the first face you would see when visiting the administration office. At 80, Mary moved to Florida and spent 11 years living her best life dominating at cards and bingo and spending quality time with family and friends. When she returned to Antwerp she quickly re-engaged with friends, church, and fellow card sharks. One of Mary's favorite pastimes was spending time with her grandchildren and they all have fond memories of their time together.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl and Ron Farnsworth, Norm Plum, Jan Heffernan, Mitch Plum and Judy Holland.; 10 grand children; 14 great grandchildren.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband, Fred Plum, to whom she was married, June 28, 1947; siblings, Luther and Max Hetrick, and grandson Matthew Plum.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held May 13th at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Antwerp at 11 AM with visitation from 9-11 AM. 

She will be laid to rest in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
