Mary Loucille Slaughter

MARY L. SLAUGHTER, age 66, of Antwerp, Ohio, passed away at 7:20 AM, Thursday, May 18th, 2006 at Paulding County Hospital, Paulding, Ohio.

Born in Hartford City, Indiana on June 16, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Mae (Sparks) Driver.

On March 4, 1977, Mary married James Slaughter, who survives.

Mary worked as a surgical technician at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne for 30 years.

She was a member of Antwerp Church of Christ, Bible Study International and the Royal Neighbors of America. Mary enjoyed quilting and poetry.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Jim; daughters, Stacy Roof & Tracy Burlage both of Fort Wayne; sister, Martha Driver of Fort Wayne; brother, Don Driver of Dayton; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Her brother, Stanley Driver has passed away.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 AM on Monday, May 22nd, with Sam Stiner officiating.

You may call Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Monday, 10 AM, at Dooley Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
