Mary Van Atta

Mary Van Atta, 79 of Antwerp, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Vancrest of Payne.

She was born in Buffalo, New York on January 10, 1944 a daughter of the late Ronald and Aurelia (Nowacki) Richards.

Mary will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Mary loved to crochet and to work with crafts.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ronald Van Atta, Sr.; children, Denise (Eric) Reeb, Amanda (David) Perkins, Bradley (Molly) Lucas, Lisa (Doug) Bragg and AJ Krick; sister, Karen Kamaka and a host of  grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary was also preceded in death by her children, Matthew Lucas, Ronald Van Atta, Jr. and Susan Bernard and siblings, Jerry and Ron Richards, Robin Wolford and Terry Whitacre.

Viewing is Tuesday, July 25th, 4 to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio.

Mary’s funeral service is Wednesday, July 26th, 10:30 AM, with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.
