Kenneth Max Woodcox, 84, of Antwerp, passed away Friday, August 16th, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
Max was born in Antwerp on January 21, 1929, a son of the late Clara (Courtney) and Paul Woodcox.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army & worked at Phelps Dodge Fort Wayne. Max was a member of the Antwerp VFW & American Legion Posts, the Hicksville Eagles & Antwerp United Methodist Church. On Jan 23, 1955 he married Iris Parker.
Max will be sadly missed by his wife, Iris; daughters, Connie (Steve) Meyer & Viktoria Woodcox, both of Antwerp & Cindie (Greg) Heck of Fort Wayne; brother, Elmer (Iris) of Antwerp; grandchildren, Ben (Carina) Meyer of Antwerp, Niki (Dustin) Carnahan of Columbus, Heather & Sarah Heck both of Fort Wayne; great grandchildren Jon & Elise Meyer & Owen Carnahan. Max is also preceded in death by his grandson, Scott Heck.
His service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp at 10 am on Wednesday, August 21st, with viewing one hour prior.
Viewing is also, Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, with military honors.
