Melvin H. Crawford, III

Melvin H. Crawford, III, 34, of Payne, Ohio passed away Monday, November 7, 2022. 

Mel was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 13, 1988, a son of Connie Sue (Barnhart) DeVelvis and Melvin H. Crawford, Jr.

He was always a Cadillac lover, so much so that he drove his grandpa around in his Cadillac at the age of 8. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews, trips to Indiana Beach and working at his own auto detailing shop, Barney's Best Detailing in Payne.

Mel will be sadly missed by his parents, Connie (Bill) DeVelvis and Melvin (Jan) Crawford, Jr., grandparents , Julene & David Crawford; sister, Rachel (Josh) Rager and nephews, Keegan & Kamden.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Phyllis & Barney Barnhart, Melvin Crawford, Sr. and his dog, Taz.

Viewing is Thursday, November 10th, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, November 11th, 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

His funeral service is 10:30 AM on Friday, November 11th at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
