Michael Anthony Springer

Michael A. Springer, 58, of Convoy, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. 

Mike was born in Hicksville, Ohio on September 4, 1959. 

He was a union steward for United Steelworkers Local #00854 working at CQT Kennedy in Van Wert, Ohio but was most comfortable in the outdoors while hunting & fishing or cheering for the Buckeyes & the Packers

Mike will be sadly missed by his wife, Laura of Convoy; mother, Doris (Gruber) of Antwerp; daughters, Candace (Josh) Feehan of Antwerp & Casey (Fernando Jasso) Springer of Hicksville; step children, Brittany (Larry Frese) Webster of Van Wert & Ethan (Brooke Combs) Webster; siblings, Jeanine (Jeff) Alpaugh of Bryan, Debra Goeltzenleuchter of Sherwood, Keith (Maria) Springer of Bryan & Melanie Bair of Antwerp and mother-in-law, Diana Mace of Van Wert and grandchildren, Adalyn, Gavyn & Rae Lynn Jasso, Aubree Feehan, Maxton Fair, Kolston & Kyeston Frese & Tucker Webster.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman.

His funeral service is 11 AM on Saturday, November 11th at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
