Maxine âMickieâ Farnsworth, 90, of Antwerp, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014.
Mickie was born in Bluffton, Indiana on December 8, 1923, a daughter of the late Martha (Baumgartner) and Marion Lee.
She worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne; was a member of the GE Auxiliary, the First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp. Mickie liked to bowl, travel, and loved to fish. She was a frequent visitor to school and community athletic events, cheering on her children and grandchildren.
In 1944 Mickie married Clyde J. (Curly) Farnsworth. He passed away in 1974. Mickie will be sadly missed by her children, Marsha (Ed) Franklin, of Findlay, James (Rosanne), of Greenville, South Carolina, Steven (Sarah) of Cleveland, Ohio, Ronald (Cheryl) of Antwerp, and Donald (Jan) of Glenview, Illinois; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her sisters, June Conner and Pearl Hakes.
Viewing is Saturday, May 17, 2014, 9 to 11 am, First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp.
Her funeral service is Saturday, May 17, 2014, 11 am, at the church.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Maumee Cemetery.
