Mildred Ludwig Timma
Mildred E. Timma, 95, of Payne, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at The Gardens of Paulding.
Mildred was born in Payne on May 24, 1916, a daughter of the late Melinda (Marquardt) and Frank Ames.
She had been a store clerk at Bachelor's Department Store and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
In 1941 she married Lester Ludwig, who passed away in 1973. Mildred then married Raymond Timma in 1997. He passed away in 2003.
Mildred will be sadly missed by her children, Carol Ludwig of Clover, SC & Paul Ludwig of Payne; grandchildren, Rick Place of Clover, SC & Carrie Grubbs of Edon, NC and 4 great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her brother, Roy Ames.
Viewing is Tuesday, 4 to 8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.
Her funeral service is at St. James Lutheran Church, Payne, at 10 am, with viewing one hour prior on Wednesday, January 4th, with Rev. Fred Meuter officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Blue Creek Cemetery.
