Nancy Johnston

Nancy A. Johnston, 65, of Cecil, passed away at 4:50 am, Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 at Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton, Ohio.

Nancy was born in Defiance County on April 15, 1942, the daughter of Hugh and Iva (Crawford) Keegan.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, garage sales and flowers, On April 17, 1960, Nancy married Max Johnston, who passed away January 14, 2005.

She will be sadly missed by her mother, Iva Keegan of Montgomery, MI; daughters, Debbie (Denny) Wells of Mark Center & Julie Johnston of Cecil; sons, Max, Jr. of Cecil and Mark of Fort Wayne;
sisters, Karen Armstrong of Pittsburgh, MI, Sharon Hill of Brooksville, FL, Judy Altheiser of Montgomery, MI, Kathy Altheiser of Logan, WV, Mary Keegan of Mark Center; brothers, Kenneth of Cecil, Hugh, Jr., Thomas, William, Gordon & George all of Montgomery, MI; 7 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death are her father & sister, Dina Sue Keegan.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Saturday, January 12th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Saturday, from 10 to 11 am at Dooley Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
