Nancy K. Woodring, 69, of Antwerp, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at her residence.
Nancy was born in Fort Wayne on August 10, 1942, a daughter of Richard Wannemacher & the late Mildred (Schmidt) Wannemacher.
She worked at Hicksville Hospital, but previously Nancy worked at Dana Weatherhead and enjoyed baby sitting for many years.
Nancy was a devout member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp VFW Auxiliary & the Red Hat Society. She loved to travel, camp and garden.
On Jan. 28, 1961 she married Bill Woodring.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband, Bill; father, Richard Wannemacher of Payne; children, Bill (Angie) of Edgerton, IN, Chris (Bruce) Ferris of Cecil, Dan (Lisa) of West Unity, Shelly (Jim) Murlin of Antwerp & Rick of Fairfield; siblings, Sue (Jerry) Zielke of Antwerp, Donna of Alvordton, Pat Wobler of Edgerton, IN; Dick (Sue) & Tom (Lou Ann) Wannemacher, both of Payne; 10 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish 303 Monroe Street, Antwerp at 10 am on Friday, September 9, 2011.
Viewing is Thursday, 2-8 pm and Friday, 9-9:30 am at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp. A VFW Auxiliary Service and Catholic Vigil Service will be held Thursday at 8 pm at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
