Norman Lee Rister

Norman Lee Rister, 60, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, with his family by his side at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Norm was born in Hicksville, Ohio on July 24, 1961, a son of Betty (Schmidt) Rister and the late Robert Rister.

He was a machinist at Carlex (formerly Guardian) over 34 years, NEVER missing a day of work! Norm enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music and playing guitars. He also enjoyed ACDC, bluegrass music, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and Camaros.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Suzanne (Shuman) to whom he was married May 30, 1992; children, Elizabeth (Landon) Kindinger and Seth Rister; granddaughter, Payton Kindinger; mother, Betty Rister; siblings, Rolan (Karen) Rister, Andy (Jamie Edsall) Rister; Bruce Rister, Jon (Jodie) Rister & Dean (Gayle) Rister.

A viewing, Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held privately. A celebration of Norm's life will be held when it is safer to gather.
