Opalean Marie Ruth Sherry

Opalean M. Sherry, 77, of Payne,  passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Vancrest of Payne.

Opalean was born in Delphos on April 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Regina M. (Siefker) and Charles H. Schlatman. She was one of their 13 children.

She was a loving caregiver, working in nursing homes until she retired.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Michael (Cheryl) Sherry of Mexico, IN, Cynthia (Steve) Coil, Kimberly Mansfield both of Payne & James (Bobbie Jo) Sherry of Paulding; 13 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gayle Fife & Richard Sherry.

Her funeral service is 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 27th at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 312 S. Main St., Payne.

Viewing is Saturday, 9 am - 10:30 am at the church.

She will be laid to rest at Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.
