Peggy Friend

Peggy Ann Friend, 56, of Latty, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

Peggy was born in Auburn, Indiana on November 8, 1968.

She was an Inspector at Paragon Tempered Glass, Antwerp. Peggy will be remembered for her love of baking and decorating for the holidays. Her devotion to her family, especially her grandkids, will never be forgotten.

Peggy will be sadly missed by her daughter, Stormie (Josh Luckadoo) Hathaway; mother, Helen (Madden) Young; companion, Richard Agness; siblings, Randy (April) Madden, Wanda Eccard, Janet Hall, Mary McCalla, Homer Zartman, Eugene (Jessica) Zartman; father-in-law, Bill Friend; sister-in-law, Nicole (Brandon) Bell; brothers-in-law, Joe (Amanda) Friend and Jason (Bethany) Friend and grandchildren, Steven, Scarlett and Kenzie.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Steven Friend; father, Homer Zartman; siblings, Cindy Madden, Thelma Kahn and Gilbert Zartman and mother-in-law, Pam Friend.
