Everett "Red" Plumb, 76, of Antwerp passed away Thursday, March 11th, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
Red was born in Roselms, Ohio on May 31, 1933, a son of the late Alice (Pratt) and Ray Plumb.
He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War & retired from Dana Weatherhead, Antwerp.
Red was a member of Antwerp American Legion, life member of Antwerp VFW and enjoyed time with his friends on the CB radio & at the Bears Den.
March, 1958 he married Flora "Polly" (Speck) Plumb, who survives.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Polly and daughter, Patty (Herb) Bittinger of Huntertown, IN; sons, Burl (Diane) Bittinger of Marion, IN & Dave (Karen) Plumb of Wrentham, MA; sisters, Marge Rhode of Chicago & Kathy Eager of Harlan, IN; brothers, Frank & Don both of Fort Wayne; 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his sisters, Nancy Plumb & Martha Leiter.
His funeral service is Monday 11 am at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with viewing one hour prior.
Viewing is also Sunday, 2-6 pm at Dooley's
