Reuhama C. Klender, 96, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Ossian Health Care & Rehab Center.
Reuhama was born in Antwerp on April 18, 1916, a daughter of the late Edith (Camp) and Bert Kauffman.
She was a cook at Antwerp Local School & Paulding County Hospital. She also owned her own beauty shop and was a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church. Reuhama enjoyed being a 4-H advisor and MYF Leader for many years.
On Jan. 6, 1940 she married Raymond Klender, who died Jan. 4, 1969.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Edward (Jacquelyn) of Hamilton, IN; Linda (Ronald) Heyerly of Ossian; Carl (Sandra) of Columbia City & Anita (Terry) Myers of Wolcottville; 9 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is her daughter, Lois Hoghe and 6 siblings.
Viewing is at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp on Sunday, 2-6 pm.
Her funeral service is at Antwerp United Methodist Church, 202 E. River Street, on Monday, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior.
She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
