Richard C. Parrish, Jr.

Richard Charles Parrish, Jr., 66, of Antwerp, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center, surrounded by his family.

Richard was born in Dallas, Texas on November 18, 1952 a son of the late Richard & Pauline (Sanders) Parrish.

He graduated from Antwerp High School in 1971. Richard proudly served in West Berlin Germany in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974. Richard went on to work for 33 years at BF Goodrich in Woodburn, Indiana.

Richard will be sadly missed by his wife Cheryl (Klender) whom he married in 1979; daughter, Sarah (Andy) Finnegan; grandchildren Dexter & Emme Finnegan; siblings Steve (Joyce) Parrish. Ron (Jean) Parrish, Anna Conley & Christine (Brian) Barker; stepmother, Donna Parrish; step siblings, Lonna Nelson, Pamela Mills, Kim Bowers, Joe Crabill & Jeff Crabill.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Parrish.

Richard's funeral service in Friday, October 25, 2019 at 1030 am, with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp. 

Viewing is also Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 4 - 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

He will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery, with military honors.
