Robert "Bing" Bissell

Robert "Bing" Bissell, 92, of Payne passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Chandler, AZ Memory Care.

Bing was born in Antwerp, Ohio on January 2, 1926, a son of the late Gertrude Hattie (Bissell) Ours and Harry Ronless Bissell.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1C in WW II; was a Safety Inspector at International Harvester; lifetime member of the UAW & Antwerp VFW. Bing was a basketball fan who aslo enjoyed men's softball & archery. 

Bing's family was special to him; he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Denise (Thomas) Burt of Gilbert, AZ; 3 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Bowers), whom he married July 10, 1948; children, Julie & Leonard and siblings, Flossie Seslar & Betty Bauer.

Viewing is Thursday,  February 1, 2018 at 10 am, Dooley Funeral home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio where Bing's funeral ceremony will be held at 11 am. 

He will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, with military honors.
