Robert Carr

Robert F Carr, 89, of Lathrup Village, MI, went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2008, at Briar Hill Health Care Center in Middlefield, OH.

He was born October 19, 1918, in Antwerp, the son of the late Mabel and Edward Carr.

He was a graduate of Bowling Green University. He married Esther F Boylan on August 19, 1950, in Antwerp. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After his discharge, he was employed by Colt Industries as a sales manager, retiring in 1990. He was a member or Northbrook Presbyterian Church, Beverly Hills, MI and Lathrup Village Lion's Club.

He is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Carr of Middlefield, OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother and sister.

Services will be held on Sept 27, 2008, 11 am, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating.

Burial will be at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.

A memorial service was held on Sept 20, 2008, at Northbrook Presbyterian Church.
